Using the Shopping Cart
Shopping Cart Display
On various pages throughout the site, if you have items in your cart, you will find a shopping cart & check out buttons at the bottom of the page.
To change an item's quantity
Select the item's quantity in the cart with your mouse and modify the quantity by entering the new quantity you wish. Do this for each item in the cart whose quantity you wish to modify. Once you are happy with the quantities, select "Update" to recalculate the Total.
To delete an item in the cart
Make the quantity of that Item as "0" (Zero) in your shopping cart & then click the button "Update".
To remove all items from the cart
Make quantity of all the items as "0" (Zero) in your shopping cart & then click the button "Update".
The Storefront Page
The storefront page will display the main categories for you to browse in the left of the screen. You can click on one of these categories to sort the catalog for item types in which you are interested.
The Collection Pages
The main categories of products are: Apparel, Alumni and Parents, and Accessories . Once on these pages you will see the items which are currently available in the specific collection you are viewing. To see detailed information or to place an item in your cart, select the item that interests you and you will be shown the product Detail Page.
The Product Detail Page
This page will display all the specific information regarding the item you have selected. To add the item to your shopping cart, select size and color (if applicable) then the 'Add to Cart button' found just under the product description.
The Login Page
Enter the user name and password that you had previously created.
Select the 'Forgot your password?' link to have your password emailed to you.
First Time Shoppers
Select the 'I'm a New Shopper' button
The New Customer Page
Enter all the appropriate information shown on the page. Be thorough; the page will not let you skip necessary information.
Enter Your E-mail Address:
Enter the email address you wish to be associated with your account.
Enter Your Password
Choose a unique password that you wish to use when returning to this site in the future. Please write it down and store it in a secure place. Note: this password must be at least six characters long.
Enter Password Again
Enter the same password again to prevent typos.
The Checkout Page
This is the last page of the ordering process.
At the top of the page you will details to enter for shipping of the product. At the middle of the page you will find a shopping cart displaying the items you wish to purchase. Directly under the cart, you will find the sales tax if applicable, shipping costs, and the Grand Total for your order. The Grand Total is the amount that will be billed to your Credit Card.
At the end of the page, you will see your shipping, billing, and credit card information.
At the bottom of the page is the Submit Order button. To process your order, press this button.
Upon submitting order you will recieve an email message from CalArts Store, confirming your total purchase.
